HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-01-31BOARD OF APPEALS January 31, 1980 7:30 p.m. The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman Woodruff M. Brodhead Robert A. Bowyer, Associate Eric T. Clarke, Associate William J. Scouler, Associate A public hearing was held on the following. Potter Pond (development), at Ooncord Avenue and Walnut St., Potter Pond Village Association by F. William Smith - site plan review and special permit (SPS) under Section 38 (multi -dwelling district -RD) for "Potter Pond" development and for dimensional variances: to wit, waiver of 30 foot minimum distance between (garage) buildings or allowance of three (3) six car garages. Petitioner has the property under purchase agreement with William L. Potter et al., as Trustees of Walnut Farm Trust, and Margaret M. Riley. Several areas of disagreement or lack of evidence were identified. Several people spoke in favor of the project, James and Marian Reilly spoke in opposition. The Board of Appeals, of the opinion it could not grant a special permit until the areas of disagreement were resolved and additional information supplied, voted unanimously to continue the hearing until February 14, 1980 at 8 p.m. (Please see decision filed with the Town Clerk for details.)
