1 March 3, 1970
A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday,
March 3, 1970, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building.
Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Sheldon, Abbott, Wadsworth,and
Dawes.
The following petitions were heard:
Campanelli, Inc. - permission to extend the time to maintain an existing sign
located at 101 Hartwell Avenue.
Lloyd H. Miller - permission to continue to operate a roadside stand at 973
Concord Turnpike for the sale of poultry, eggs, fruit, vegetables and Christmas
trees and wreathes in season.
David Fudge & Son, Inc. - special permit under Section 25.68, for an addition
to the funeral home at 120 School Street.
John T. Spinelli Company - finding and determination under Section 12.2 and 13
of the Zoning By -Law that the proposed office and warehouse building at 44 Hartwell
Avenue, shown on plans submitted herewith will constitute a suitable development.
John Sellars Company - variance from Section 25 of the Zoning By -Law to permit
the continued use of the premises at 430 Concord Avenue for the parking and main-
tenance of commercial vehicles as follows: (1) Existing commercial garage -parking
of trucks; (2) Exterior parking lot to rear of garage only for the parking of
trailers.
Following the hearings an executive session was held during which the following
decisions were made:
Campanelli, Inc. - Granted, with time expires September 3, 1971.
Lloyd H. Miller - Granted.
David Fudge & Son, Inc. - Qranted.
John T. Spinelli, Company - granted subject to recommendations by the
Planning Board and Town Engineer.
John Sellars Company - denied subject to a year to terminate this business.
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
