HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-04-101 1 April 10, 1953 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington on April 10, 1953. Chairman Locke, Messrs. Lynah, Ballard, Redman and Ripley were present. The Clerk was also present. At 8:00 p.m. public hearings were declared open on the following petitions: Lee W. Simonds - to erect a building at 117 Waltham St. for the pur- pose of main ain�.ng an automobile salesroom and service department and for servicing new and used automobiles. Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. - to install one flat sign 52' x 44" in front of building at 33 Bedford s .; one set of letters 48' high at end of building; and one post sign on the premises. Robert E. Doran - to erect a greenhouse at 150 East St. Richard Trace - to erect a conservatory at the rear of existing dwelling at 5 Butler Ave. Herbert W. Drury - to erect a two -car garage at 9 Plainfield St. Manuel DeMello - to erect a breezeway and garage at 28 Eaton Rd. Robert G. Doncaster - to erect a breezeway and garage attached to the existing building Fred R. Lutfy - to erect a single family dwelling at 34 Eldred St. Rose Ampolo - to maintain the present dwelling located at 185 Burlington Seth the setback and side yards shown on the plot plan submitted. Following the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were made: Lee W. Simonds - denied. :eat Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. - denied Robert E.
