HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-04-17BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS I April 17, 1952 The Board of Appeals held public hearings on April 17, 1952 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office, on the following petitions: Robert M. Perkins - to erect a utility building 718"xlOIOII on Lot 9-B Tat ve. Paul E. Snyder - make an addition to the existing dwelling at #43 BueSDr.in accordance with plans submitted. Harvey W. Newgent - to erect a two -car garage at #31 Meriam St. in accordance with plans submitted, subject to the following conditions: 1. That upon completion of the garage, the projecting portion of the present one -car garage be removed; that the existing circular black -top driveway be eliminated and the area grassed down, all in accordance with plans submitted; 2. And subject tothe further condition that an appro- priate fence be maintained in good order between the proposed garage and Glen Rd. Muriel C. Stone, Clerk C 171 Arlex Realty Trust - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot #3 Summer S . itmos W. Goodfellow - to operate a Golf Driving Range on the prem- ises adjacent o Countryside, subject to the following conditions: 1. That no soft drinks, sandwiches or ice cream shall be sold on the prem- ises; 2. That the fence be repaired and the building reconditioned and repainted and the premises be kept in a neat and orderly condition; 3. That the permit shall expire one year from date. Milford Woodward - to erect a twocar garage on Lot #18 located at 487 Wa m S ., su ject to the condition that a 15 foot side yard be provided on the southerly side of the lot. Following the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were made: Paul E. Snyder - granted Harvey W. Newgent - granted Arlex Realty Trust - granted James W.
