HomeMy WebLinkAbout1947-12-0527, BOARu OF APPEALS HEARING December 5, 1947 A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's, Room, Town Office Building, on December 5, 1947. Chairman Locke, Messrs. Houdlette, Brown, Rich and Redman were present. The clerk was also present. At 8:03 p.m. the hearings were declared open. The following petitions were heard: C. Clifford Hanson for permission to conduct a retail antiquei business on the premises located at 905 Massachusetts Avenue. David A. Rix for permission to maintain a filling station for! the storage and sale at retail of petroleum products, a lubricating station and accessory uses at the southwest corner of Waltham Street and Marrett Road. Edward F. Chapin, V.F.W., for permission to erect on the prem- ises located at No. 1 Hayes Lane, a building to be used as a home and headquarters of Lexington Post #3007, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and its Auxiliary. ' At the close of the hearing the following decisions were made; C.Clifford Hanson - denied David Rix - granted Edward F. Chapin, V.F.W. - granted Catherine Parello, Clerk
