HomeMy WebLinkAbout1936-11-10232 BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING NOVEMBER 10, 1936. A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 8:00 P. M. Chairman Maddison and Messrs. Glynn, Ferguson and Lyons were present. The Acting Secretary was also present. The records of the.meeting of November 6th were read and approved. The adjourned hearing on the petition of tarliel Jo Connell for a gasoline station on his lot of land at the corner of Woburn Street and Fletcher Avenue was held and no one appeared to further favor or oppose the granting of the petition and the hearing adjourned. The adjourned hearing on the petition of Calvin W. Childs for a gasoline station at the junction of Watertown Streetand the Concord Turnpike was held and no one appeared further in favor or in opposition to granting the permit. Inasmuch as the amendment to the By-law affecting this' land has not been published for three weeks, the Board took the matter under advisement. It was decided to notify Mr. Daniel J. O'Connell that the Board would meet .on November 27th and to request him to appear before the Board at 7:30 P. M. on that date. It was decided to request Mr. Calvin We Childs to appear before the Board in regard to his petition at 8:30 P. M. on November 27th. The meeting adjourned at 9:05 P. M.
