HomeMy WebLinkAbout1935-07-16143 BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING JULY 160P 1935. A special meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 7:00 P. M. Messrs. Glynn, Kimball, and Robbins were present. The secre- tary was also present. In the absence of Mr. Maddison, Mr. Glynn acted as Chairman. The meeting was called to take action upon an appeal re- ceived from Mr. Nathan B. Bidwell in regard to a permit granted by the Board of Health to Mr. A. M. Roberts of 38 Adams Street to keep poultry. The apeal was endorsed by: Mr. Richard E. Rowse, Mary H. Bidwell, F. Josephine Blodgett, Walter W. Rowse, George E. Graves, Ernestine C. Snow, Sarah E. Goodwin, Clar- ence H. Tinkham, and the Arlington Five Cents Savings Bank. The appeal referred to a petition and exceptions filed before a hearing on the permit, and requested that the order for grant- ing the permit be revoked and the permit bancelled. The Board of Appeals decided that it lacked jurisdiction in the matter and consequently would make no arrangements for a hearing, and voted to advise Mr. Bidwell to this effect.
