Lexington Housing Partnership <br />Meeting Minutes for Tuesday, March 7, 2017 <br />Attendees: Harriet Cohen, Nancy Corcoran-Ronchetti, Jeri Foutter, Paul Linton, Wendy Manz, Rich <br />McDonough, Melinda Walker, Betsey Weiss <br />Absent: Mary Haskell, Joe Pato, Bob Pressman <br />Guests: <br />The meeting was chaired by Melinda Walker and the minutes were taken by Harriet Cohen. The meeting <br />was called to order at 7:35 pm. <br />1. Approval of minutes of January 26, 2017 <br />Two minor updates were made to the minutes. Ms. Corcoran-Ronchetti moved approval of the <br />December 15, 2016 minutes and Ms. Weiss seconded the motion. The motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />2. Updates on projects/proposals with affordable housing implications / All <br />No updates were provided. <br />3. Discussion of LexHAB activities/ Pressman and Walker <br />Ms. Walker said that Todd Cataldo sold the last house at Keeler Farm. LexHAB signed the Purchase <br />and Sale (P&S) agreement and should be able to close on the affordable unit at Keeler Farm in the <br />spring. HOME funds will be available for the unit. <br />LIP application for Busa housing project: Ms. Manz said the application had been sent to DHCD on <br />Saturday. Ms. Walker sent in a letter in support of the Busa housing project on behalf of the <br />Lexington Housing Partnership. <br />4. Discussion of CPA Project List for Annual Town Meeting 2017 / Pressman and Walker <br />Currently on the CPA Project List: <br />■ Porches at Greeley Village (approved by CPA and Capital Expenditures and is on the Town <br />Warrant) <br />■ The Judges Way housing is still being discussed in a CPC Executive Session. There are 16 <br />units. 11 are low income/affordable; 5 are either Massachusetts Rental Vouchers (state) or <br />Section 8 vouchers. <br />5. Update on changes to "charge" for partnership / Walker <br />Ms. Walker and Ms. Vine finalized the changes to the LHP charge. The Board of Selectmen must <br />approve the changes to the charge for the changes to take effect. <br />6. Discussion on upcoming meeting with COA / Weiss and Walker <br />LHP is meeting with the Council on Aging on Wednesday, April 5 to discuss potential projects related <br />to affordable housing for seniors. <br />7. Update on progress on studying "Smart Growth Zones" / Foutter <br />No new information. Ms. Foutter is still waiting to meet with Aaron Henry and Carol Kowalski. The <br />town has postponed the meeting several times due to other commitments. <br />
