WELCOME - Chairperson <br />a. Introduction - membership update. Seetha spoke to Lexington Council for Aging - they will advertise during June 7th <br />meeting to seek senior citizens' participation. <br />2. REPORTS <br />a. Secretary's Report <br />i. Approval of May minutes, Approval Motion by Jean Hart, seconded by Laurel Smith. <br />b. Treasurer's Report <br />i. Update on reimbursements, current account balance. State $7223($1500 yet to be claimed from last year's <br />cycle) / Local $2236 - to be updated based on Amy's input/latest ledger from Laurie <br />ii. Granite Forest project details available for Council members to review <br />iii. Update on grant money not yet claimed from 2015-16 : to be updated based on Amy's input <br />iv. Received $500 VOG grant/Breakthrough artist - now deposited in local account via Laurie <br />V. Cristina will arrange directly for Parade sign reimbursement through Laurie <br />vi. SEO domain name fees automatically paid <br />c. Grants Report <br />i. Received new reimbursements to be signed and processed <br />ii. Attendance/sign up for Grant winners performances by Council members <br />d. Communications Report <br />i. Website: www.lexartscouncil.org, Facebook & Twitter, Would like to post photos from Open Studios with <br />arts' permission <br />ii. Send to Grantee reception article again to Colonial times & Lexington Minuteman, also to Town Calendar <br />contact <br />iii. Reminder - Bookmark review designed by Jean for Discovery Day (May 27th) & Grantee Reception <br />iv. All members welcome to write reviews on art events and potentially share on personal social media <br />accounts <br />3. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. New Initiatives <br />i. Feedback from Dimmock Award & Discovery Day <br />ii. Mark's email on creativity <br />iii. 2017-18 Donors & Membership strategy - Jessie's input on past initiatives <br />b. 2016-17 Projects <br />i. Artepreneurs soiree (July 12th @7pm Aloft Lexington) -confirm publicity plans, email lists, word of mouth, <br />posters, website form for nominations etc.Potential kickoff venue space, the ALoft, for all Lexington artists. <br />Jessie has offered to prepare a creative sign -in format for guests.
