Tri-Ton Coalition Advisory Board <br />Burlington.Lexington.Wilmington <br /> <br />Tri-Ton Coalition Advisory Board Meeting <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 20, 2024 <br />2:00 to 3:00 pm <br />Via Webex <br /> <br />Attendees: Susan Lumenello, Director Burlington Board of Health, Joanne Belanger, Director <br />Lexington Board of Health, Shelly Newhouse, Director Wilmington Board of Health, and Katie <br />Capobianco, Shared Services Coordinator <br /> <br />I. Approval of Minutes <br />• Joanne made a motion, seconded by Shelly, to approve the February 21, 2024 meeting <br />minutes- motion approved. <br /> <br />II. Update on Community Outreach Position <br />• Three potential candidates were selected for interviews. The first person scheduled for <br />March 19th did not show up for the interview. <br />• There are two additional interviews scheduled for March 26th. Shelly advised that she <br />would attend the interviews with Susan. <br /> <br />III. DPH Performance Standards Self-Assessment Tool <br />• Susan advised that currently there is a spreadsheet on the DPH website to conduct a self- <br />assessment for your town. There will be the ability to see the individual town results and <br />to merge the Shared Services towns to assess how we are doing as a whole. The overview <br />may provide a clearer picture of deficits from last year’s review. <br />• This year is a self-assessment however, there will be an official assessment conducted in <br />2025. <br /> <br />IV. Programs and Public Health Initiatives <br />• Rashod is certified to teach CPR/AED trainings and is currently waiting on the <br />mannequin order from American Red Cross. <br />• Shelly has reached out to Rashod to hold a Stop the Bleed training at Wilmington Town <br />Hall on Thursday April 18th from 11:00 to 1:00 for the DPW staff and public building <br />custodians. Joanne advised that Rashod will be in Lexington on that day from 11:00 to <br />1:00. Shelly said she will schedule that STB training for 2:00 pm on that day. <br />• Susan said they will need to know how many people are scheduled for the training <br />because MRC volunteer nurses will be needed to assist at any trainings with over 10 <br />participants.
