Regular Session Minutes
June 23, 2016
A Meeting of the Board of Assessors was held on June 23, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. located in
the Selectmen Meeting Room of the Town Hall Building. In attendance: Gregory
Johnson, Chairman, Edmund C. Grant, Member, Casimir Groblewski, Member, Robert
F. Lent, Director of Assessing, and Sandra Pentedemos, Administrative Assessor/Office
Manager.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors roll call 3-0, began at
8:50 a.m.
Public Comment Time: There were no attendees.
Rob Addelson was present, and held discussions with the board on the Financial
Overlay. The Board of Assessors approved of the release of the Overlay funds for fiscal
years 2000 through 2007 in the amount of $400,000 to the Finance Director, Rob
Addelson, in a letter format.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors went into Executive
Session at 9:25 a.m. to discuss the items as listed on the Agenda.
Executive Session
The Board reviewed and discussed thirteen (13) Fiscal Year 2016 Statutory Exemption
Applications:
Seven (7) Clause 41A Tax Deferral Exemptions
Two (2) Clause 41C Elderly Exemption
Three (3) Community Preservation Surcharge Chapter 44B Exemptions
• Motion was made and seconded, to deem deny three (3) Clause 41A Deferrals
Motion was made and seconded, to approve four (4) Clause 41A Deferrals
Four (4) Statement of Entries to be recorded for each Tax Deferral were signed and
notarized.
• Motion was made and seconded, to approve two (2) Clause 41C Elderly.
0 Motion was made and seconded, to deny one (1) Clause 41C Elderly.

Motion was made and seconded, to deny two (2) of the Community
Preservation Surcharges.
Motion was made and seconded„ to deem deny the remaining one (1)
Community Preservation Surcharges.
There was no review or discussion of previous held Meeting Minutes.
The next scheduled Meeting will be held on July 20, 2016.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors adjourned the Executive
Session at 11:30 a.m. and return to Regular Session of the Meeting.
There being no other business a motion was duly made and seconded at 11:35 a.m. to
adjourn the Meeting.
