<br />Lexington Housing Partnership <br />MeetingMinutesforThursday,January14,2016 <br />Attendees:HarrietCohen,PaulLinton,JeriFoutter,BobPressman,MelindaWalker,MaryHaskell, <br />BetseyWeiss <br />Absent:JoePato,NancyCorcoranRonchetti,WendyManz <br />Guests:DesireePelletier,AmericorpsVolunteer,MetroWestCollaborativeDevelopment <br />ThemeetingwaschairedbyMelindaWalkerandtheminutesweretakenbyHarrietCohen.Themeeting <br />wascalledtoorderat7:40pm. <br />1.ApprovalofmeetingminutesofNovember5,2015andDecember3,2015 <br />ThereviewoftheminutesfromtheNovember2015meetinghasbeendelayed.Thevoteonthe <br />NovemberminuteswillbetakeninFebruary.Ms.WalkercalledforcommentsontheDecember <br />minutes.Therewerenone.Ms.WeissmovedapprovaloftheDecember2015minutesandMr. <br />Pressmansecondedthemotion.Themotionwasapproved. <br />2.ReportonprogressondevelopmentofSeniorHousing/Walker <br />Ms.WalkerreportedontheSeniorCenterspacethatwasvacatedwhenthemovetothenew <br />CommunityCenter.Thespaceisdeedrestrictedforsenioruses.CarolKowalski,AssistantTown <br />ManagerforDevelopment,wantstodevelopseniorhousinginthespace.CarolmetwithCaileen <br />Foley(newdirectorofLexingtonHousingAuthority)andwiththefirechief.Thefirechiefsaidthe <br />MuzzeyApartments,boththecommonareasandeveryapartment,areinviolationoffirecodes. <br />TheTownwillnotmoveforwardwithplansforthespaceuntilthefiresafetyissuesareresolved. <br />3.ReviewofCPAfundingrequestsfor2016ATM/Pressman <br />Mr.PressmansaidthatCPCvoted$180,000forLexHABtobuytheaffordableunitattheKeeler <br />subdivisionandthedeveloperagreedtoselltheunittoLexHAB.LaterinformationfromJennifer <br />(MWDC)wasthatHOMEfundswereavailableforthispurpose.IftheHOMEfundsareavailable,the <br />CPCwillrescindtheallocation.Ms.PelletierwillcheckwithMs.Jennifertoseeifsheisapplyingfor <br />theHOMEfunds. <br />TheCPCapprovedtheLexingtonHousingAuthorityproposalforapproximately$300,000forGreeley <br />Villagebackdoorandbackporchproject. <br />4.ReportonResidentialPolicyCommittee(RPC)/Foutter <br />Ms.FoutterupdatedtheLHPontheRPCactivities.Sheprovidedtheflyersthatarebeingdistributed <br />toadvertisethesecondpublicworkshoponresidentialpolicyinitiatives.ItwillbeheldonThursday, <br />January21atBattinHallinCaryMemorialBuilding. <br />TheRPChasdevelopedanumberoffiveproposedarticlesbasedontheinputfromthefirstpublic <br />workshopinMayandtheproposedarticleswillbereviewedatthesecondpublicworkshopnext <br />Thursday.ThecurrentplanistomoveforwardwiththeseatTownMeeting. <br />Theproposals: <br />NeighborhoodConservationDistricts <br />MaximumHeightofDwellingsNearLotLotsΑifthefrontlotlineis50feetorless,thenthe <br /> <br />
