WELCOME - Chairperson <br />a. Christina announced that due to her new position at the Munroe Arts Center she will not be able to participate in <br />discussion or voting on grants. Seetha will be assuming the chair position beginning this evening's meeting to ensure <br />there are no conflicts of interest. <br />2. REPORTS <br />a. Minutes from the June, September and October meetings were reviewed and all were approved. <br />3. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Grant Evaluation - All applications were reviewed and given an initial score. 30 applications were received this year, <br />total request was $20,170. Total grant funds available for 2016/17- $5,660. <br />b. Discussion tonight focused on the grant requests that members categorized as low priority and thus likely to be <br />rejected. Each low priority project was discussed in depth with reasoning for the scoring provided by the reviewer. <br />Any rejected grant applicant will have 15 days to re- submit their grant after being denied. Thus, there would be <br />enough time for them to be re- reviewed at our December meeting. <br />c. 8 grants were rejected this evening <br />d. 22 Grants were tabled for discussion at next month's meeting. Members will review all applications that are being <br />considered for funding in advance of the next meeting. <br />4. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />a.
