<br />TriBurlington.Lexington.Wilmington Ton Coalition Advisory Board- <br /> <br /> <br />Tri-Ton Coalition Advisory Board Meeting <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 18, 2023 <br />2:00 to 3:00 pm <br />Via Webex <br />Attendees: Susan Lumenello, Director Burlington Board of Health, Joanne Belanger, Shelly <br />Newhouse, Director Wilmington Board of Health, Elsa Zhao, Lead Field Trainer, MAPC, and <br />Katie Capobianco, Shared Services Coordinator <br /> <br />I. Approval of Minutes <br /> Joanne made a motion, second by Susan to approve the July 19, 2023- motion <br />approved. <br /> Susan made a motion, second by Joanne to approve the September 20, 2023 <br />meeting minutes – motion approved. <br />II. Elsa Zhao – Lead Field Trainer, MAPC (Metro Area Planning Council) <br /> <br /> Elsa advised that she was a former Health Inspector in Malden for nine years and <br />she is working on the state standardization of inspections and can assist with any <br />new inspectors, one on one. Towns can reach out to her to schedule a training. <br /> DPH is looking to hold a central training and Elsa is looking to use a local food <br />establishment to go out on a food inspection. Joanne said she could go out on a <br />food inspection in Lexington. <br /> Virtual and in-person trainings will held in the nine field training hubs. There is <br />not one centralized training center. Tobacco training will be included at a later <br />date. <br /> <br />III. Tobacco Grant <br /> Brenda met with Shelly in Wilmington. Shelly feels she should shadow with Ron <br />as she need hands on training. She should check with Melrose and potentially <br />shadow with Maureen Busby. <br /> Susan will touch base with Brenda as to opportunities to shadow for work <br />experience. <br /> Brenda also called in on the Lexington BOH meeting and met the board. <br /> <br />IV. Program Updates <br />th <br /> Lexington will be holding a flu clinic on November 7. They also have a clinic on <br />th <br />October 19 and Joanne will reach out to Katy to see if she can help as a Medical <br />Scribe. <br /> <br />
