TriBurlington.Lexington.Wilmington Ton Coalition Advisory Board- Tri-Ton Coalition Advisory Board Meeting Meeting Minutes October 18, 2023 2:00 to 3:00 pm Via Webex Attendees: Susan Lumenello, Director Burlington Board of Health, Joanne Belanger, Shelly Newhouse, Director Wilmington Board of Health, Elsa Zhao, Lead Field Trainer, MAPC, and Katie Capobianco, Shared Services Coordinator I. Approval of Minutes  Joanne made a motion, second by Susan to approve the July 19, 2023- motion approved.  Susan made a motion, second by Joanne to approve the September 20, 2023 meeting minutes – motion approved. II. Elsa Zhao – Lead Field Trainer, MAPC (Metro Area Planning Council)  Elsa advised that she was a former Health Inspector in Malden for nine years and she is working on the state standardization of inspections and can assist with any new inspectors, one on one. Towns can reach out to her to schedule a training.  DPH is looking to hold a central training and Elsa is looking to use a local food establishment to go out on a food inspection. Joanne said she could go out on a food inspection in Lexington.  Virtual and in-person trainings will held in the nine field training hubs. There is not one centralized training center. Tobacco training will be included at a later date. III. Tobacco Grant  Brenda met with Shelly in Wilmington. Shelly feels she should shadow with Ron as she need hands on training. She should check with Melrose and potentially shadow with Maureen Busby.  Susan will touch base with Brenda as to opportunities to shadow for work experience.  Brenda also called in on the Lexington BOH meeting and met the board. IV. Program Updates th  Lexington will be holding a flu clinic on November 7. They also have a clinic on th October 19 and Joanne will reach out to Katy to see if she can help as a Medical Scribe.
