<br />DRAFT MEETING MINUTES <br />April 7, 2023 <br /> <br />The Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) has scheduled a meeting for <br />Monday, April 10, at 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. via Zoom. <br /> <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />1. Opening of the Meeting and Attendance - Chair <br />a. Lisa Murray, Rick DeAngelis, Bridger McGaw, Dave Pronchick (arrived 8:36) <br />Adrienne Ortyl, Charlie Minasian; Sam Ang (arrived 8:40am) – Quorum was <br />established at 8:32 am <br />b. Sandya Iyer, Doug Lucente, Joe Pato, Charles Hornig, <br /> <br />2. Approval of March Meeting Minutes – EDAC <br />a. Moved by Lisa Murray; Seconded by Bridger McGaw. Approved 5-0 (Lisa Murray, <br />Rick DeAngelis, Bridger McGaw, Adrienne Ortyl, Charlie Minasian voted to <br />approve) <br /> <br />3. Items that may come before Annual Town Meeting for EDAC positions. <br /> <br />a. Article 34 and associated Amendments <br />i. Dawn McKenna presented the proposed Amendment and justifications. <br />1. Dawn presented on the Amendment. <br />2. Lisa Murray concurred that Lexington Center needs to be pulled for <br />now and more focused effort done to make that work for the town with <br />multi-family housing <br />3. Adrienne O. wants to see more multi-housing development <br />opportunities and how do we make sure that the Lexington Center gets <br />developed for Housing. <br />4. Bridger M. supports the Amendment and more caution for Lexington <br />Center. <br />5. Charlie Minasian noted that the Center could be included now but that <br />he wanted the other Marrett/Spring and Marrett Waltham included and <br />concerned why the Amendment group removed these. <br />6. Dave P. wants to hear more from Planning Board before taking a <br />position. <br />7. Sam A. agreed that prudent to hold on the Center and the proposal had <br />some merits. <br />8. Charlie H (speaking on the Planning Board Report against the <br />Amendment) noted that the there is no need for a Special Permit <br />Process around Lexington Center/East Lexington and there are enough <br />controls. And its “Not Clear” in the Special Permit process about what <br />the requirements would be. The Planning Board doesn’t believe that
