Attendees: Susan Lumenello, Director Burlington Board of Health, Joanne Belanger, Shelly
Newhouse, Director Wilmington Board of Health, Jackie Messina, Public Health Specialist Tri-
Ton, Samantha Cavanaugh, Wilmington Police Department, and Katie Capobianco, Shared
Services Coordinator
I. Approval of Minutes
The July 19, 2023 meeting minutes will be voted on at the next meeting with a quorum.
II. Shared Services Staff
Updates
• Shelly will contact Tahycha to go out with her to do septic systems soil evaluations
• Rashod will reach out to Jennifer in Wilmington to schedule a Stop the Bleed training.
• For Matter of Balance training, Shelly suggested reaching out to Terry and Laura Pickett
at the Wilmington Senior Center. Jackie will help schedule the training and Shelly will
send out the emails.
• Burlington will be doing school vaccines. Rashod will vaccinate, Tahycha will assist with
interpretation, and Jackie and Katy will help as medical scribes.
• Shelly has a clinic on October 11th that she would like Rashod to assist with.
III. Tobacco Grant
• Benda Makumbi has been hired as the new Tobacco Inspector.
• In the past, Shelly sent staff to Melrose to train with their tobacco inspector. It would be a
paid training.
IV. Hoarding for First Responders Presentation – Jackie
V. New Business
• No new business.
The next meeting will be held on October 18, 2023
