<br />Lexington Housing Partnership <br />MeetingMinutesforThursday,March31,2016 <br />Attendees:HarrietCohen,NancyCorcoranRonchetti,JeriFoutter,MaryHaskell,WendyManz,Bob <br />Pressman,MelindaWalker,BetseyWeiss, <br />Absent:JoePato,PaulLinton <br />DesireePelletier,ElizabethRust,IngridKlimoff <br />Guests: <br />ThemeetingwaschairedbyMelindaWalkerandtheminutesweretakenbyHarrietCohen.Themeeting <br />wascalledtoorderat7:37pm. <br />1.ApprovalofminutesofFebruary24,2016 <br />ThePartnershipmadeafewminorclarificationstotheminutes.Ms.Haskelthenmovedapprovalof <br />theminutes;Ms.Weisssecondedthemotion.Themotionpassedunanimously. <br />2.ReportonactivitiesofRHSO(RegionalHousingAffordableOffice)inLexington/ElizabethRust <br />Ms.RustpresentedarecommendationfromAaronHenrytotheBoardofSelectmantoapprovetwo <br />ǤĻğƩƭ͸worthofHOMEfunds($69,342)towardstheKeelerFarmpurchase.ALIPapplicationis <br />includedintherecommendationtoensurethatthereisaperpetualdeedrestrictiononthe <br />affordablehousing.TheHOMEprogramhasapprovedtheuseoffunds.Thepaperworkforthe <br />fundingisbeingprovidedbyRHSO. <br />Procedurally,theremustbefourvotestoobtaintheHOMEfunds.Theseshouldallbeproforma. <br />Theyare: <br />1.VotetoallocatetheFY16funds. <br />2.VotetoallocatetheFY17funds. <br />3.VotetosigntheHOMEpaperwork <br />VotetosigntheLIPapplication <br />4. <br />Ms.RustnotedthattheremainderofthefundswillcomefromtheCPAfunds. <br />RHSOisworkingtomaintainaffordablehousingatAvalonLexington.Theagreementforthe <br />affordablehousingthatinitiallyprovidedforrentstobeprovidedat50%ofAMIhasexpired.The <br />unitswillnowbeat80%ofAMIforfuturetenants. <br />3.ContinueddiscussionaboutLexingtonHousingFoundation/Foutter&Haskell <br />Ms.HaskellremindedtheLHPthatBobBicknellhasresignedfromtheFoundationanda <br />replacementneedstobefound. <br />TheLHPdiscussedhowtheLexingtonHousingFoundationmightbestbeleveragedforaccepting <br />housingfunds.Ms.FoutterclarifiedthelegalstatusoftheFoundation.TheLHPagreed <br />affordable <br />thatitshouldsupporttheworkoftheLexingtonHousingFoundation.Ms.Walkerencouragedthe <br />LHPmemberstohelpfindareplacementforMr.Bicknell. <br />4.ContinueddiscussionaboutMetrowestCoffeesforSeniors/Pelletier <br />Ms.PelletiercontactedtheSeniorCenteraboutholdinganaffordablehousinginformationsession <br />attheSeniorCenter.TheSeniorCenterhasalreadysentoutitsMay/Junenewsletterandisnot <br /> <br />
