<br /> WARRANT FOR STATE ELECTION <br /> The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss. <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington. <br /> Greeting: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth you are hereby required to notiff°.and <br /> warn the inhabitants of said Town who are qualified to vote in Elections to <br /> meet in the Adams School, East Lexington (Precinct One) and Cary Memorial <br /> Building, Lexington Center, (Precincts Two, Three and Four) , on <br /> TUESDAY, THE SECOND DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1954 <br /> at 7x(3(0 A.M. , to cast their ballots for the following officers : <br /> Governor; Lieutenant Governor; Secretary; Treasurers Auditor; Attorney <br /> Generalj Representative in Congress; Councillor_; Senator; Two Representatives <br /> in General Court; District Attorney; Register of Probate and Insolvency; One <br /> County Commissioner; One County Treasurer. *Senator in Congress <br /> And to take action on the following questions : <br /> QUESTION NO. 1 <br /> A. Shall licenses be granted in this town for the sale <br /> therein of all alcoholic beverages (whisky, rum, gin, malt YES <br /> beverages, wines and all other alcoholic beverages) ? NO <br /> B. Shall licenses be granted in this town for the sale <br /> therein of wines and malt beverages (wines and beer, ale YES <br /> and all other malt beverages) ? NO <br /> C. Shall licenses be granted in this town for the sale <br /> therein of all alcoholic beverages in packages, so called, YES <br /> not to be drunk on the premises? NO <br /> QUESTION NO. 2 <br /> A. Shall the pari-mutuel system of betting on licensed YES <br /> horse races be permitted in this county? NO <br /> B. Shall the pari-mutuel system of betting on licensed <br /> dog races be permitted in this county?
