THE COMKOA HEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS. <br /> MIDDLEJ2X, SS. <br /> To either of the Constables of the town of Lexington, Greeting : <br /> in the name of the Commonwealth you are hereby required to <br /> notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington who are <br /> qualified to vote in Elections to meet in the Town Hall, in said <br /> Lexington on Tuesday, the Sixth Day of November, 1917 , at six <br /> otelock A. M. , to cast their ballots for the following officers : <br /> Governor; Lieutenant Governor; Secretary; Treasurer , Auditor , <br /> Attorney-General , Councillor for the 6th Councillor. District; <br /> Senator for the 5th Senatorial District, One Representative in <br /> General Court for 28th Representative District, County Commissioner <br /> for Middlesex County. <br /> Also to bring in their totes On the following questions <br /> Acceptance of the following Articles of Amendment <br /> Article of Amendment No . 1. <br /> The General Court shall have power to provide by law for voting <br /> by qualified voters of the Commonwealth who, at the time of an <br /> election, are absent from the city or town of which they are <br /> inhabitants in the choice of any officer to be elected or upon <br /> any question submitted at such election. <br /> Article of Amendment No . 2. <br /> Article XVIII. Section 1. No law shall be passed prohibit- <br /> ing the free exercise of religion. <br /> Section 2. All moneys raised by taxation in the towns <br /> and cities for the support of public schools, and all moneys which <br /> may be appropriated by the commonwealth for the support of common <br /> schools shall be applied to, and expended in, no other schools than <br /> those which are conducted according to law, under the order and <br /> superintendence of the authorities of the town or city in which <br /> the money is expended, and no grant, appropriation or use of public <br />
