TOWN WARRANT <br />Commonwealth of Massachusetts, <br />Middlesex, ss. <br />To either of the Constables of the town of Lexington, in said County, Greeting: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are <br />directed to notify the inhabitants of the town of Lexington <br />qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the <br />Town Hall, in said Lexington, on <br />TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 1911, at 7.30 p. m. <br />then and there to act on the following articles:— <br />ART. i. To choose a moderator to preside in said meeting. <br />ART. 2. To hear and act upon the report of any committee ready to report, or <br />appoint other committees. <br />ART. 3. To see if the Town will accept a new street called Edgewood Road, <br />leading from Hancock St. to Merriam St. or act in any manner thereto. <br />ART. 4. To 'see if the Town will appoint a committee to consider the location <br />and cost of a swimming pool, and appropriate a small amount of money to cover <br />the cost of preliminary surveys and specifications, and take action thereon. <br />ART. 5. To rescind a vote passed June 8, 1891 when the Legacy of Eleanor S. <br />Beals was accepted, or act in --any manner -relating thereto. <br />ART. 6. To see if the Town will authorize the Town Treasurer, under the <br />direction of the Selectmen, to borrow money for any necessary purpose in antici- <br />pation of taxes for the year 1911, the same to be repaid directly from the proceeds <br />of said taxes. <br />ART. 7. To see if the Town will rescind, alter, or amend in any way the vote <br />passed November znd, 1875, relative to the depositing of money with the Town <br />Treasurer in trust to provide for care of cemetery lots; and to take any other <br />or further action relating to cemetery trust funds. <br />ART. 8. To see if the town will make an appropriation for the suppression of <br />Gypsy and Brown Tail Moths, in accordance with Chapter 381, Acts of 1905, and <br />amendments to same, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 9. To see if the Town will make an appropriation or appropriations for the <br />extension of water mains, and vote to borrow, on the note or notes of the Town, <br />all or any of the money so appropriated; and to take such further or other action rela- <br />tive to extending water pipes and providing funds therefor as may be deemed best. <br />ART. 10. To see if the Town will make an appropriation for the use of the Board <br />of Water and Sewer Commissioners in connection with investigations and surveys <br />relative to contemplated drainage and sewerage, and vote to borrow on the note of the <br />Town all or any of the money so appropriated. <br />Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the <br />Town Clerk on or before the time of said meeting. <br />Given under our hands, at Lexington, this fourth day of January, A.
