WARRANT <br /> FOR A <br /> TOWN <br /> MEETING. <br /> . _ <br /> To WILLIAM E. FOSTER, Constable of Lexington, GREETING: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are <br /> <br /> hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the <br /> Town of Lexington, qualified by law to vote in town <br /> affairs, to assemble at the Town Hall, on <br /> Saturday, the Twenty=fifth day of September, A. D., 1909, <br /> at 7.45 o'clock P. M., to act on the following Articles, viz:— <br /> ART. i. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting. <br /> ART. 2. To see if the town will vote to ratify the action of the Selectmen and <br /> sell the house and a parcel of land, not exceeding one acre, situated on Lincoln <br /> street, in Lexington, being a part of the premises known as the Lexington Water <br /> Works property, and to authorize the Selectmen to execute and deliver a deed of <br /> the same, or to act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> ART. 3. To see if the town will make a further appropriation for completing <br /> the improvements in Town Hall Bldg. and for furnishing the same or take any <br /> action thereon. <br /> ART. 4. To see if the town will appoint a Committee to investigate the con- <br /> dition and requirements of the Center Engine House, or take any action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> ART. 5. To see if the town will make an appropriation for the use of the Water <br /> Commissioners in extending water mains, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> ART. 6. To see if the town will make an appropriation and provide for the raising <br /> of money to defray the cost of employing Counsel in regard to unloading manure <br /> by the Boston & Maine Railroad Co. in the town where it is a nuisance, or act <br /> in any manner relating to same.- - - <br /> Hereof fail not, and make clue return of this Warrant,with your doings thereon,to the <br /> Town Clerk on or before the time of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands, at Lexington, this Eleventh day of September, A, D., 1909. <br /> FRSNn 13.
