• <br /> TOWN WARRANT <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss. <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in said County, <br /> Greeting: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed <br /> to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, qualified to vote <br /> in elections and in Town affairs, to meet in their respective voting <br /> places in said Town. <br /> PRECINCT ONE, ADAMS SCHOOL: PRECINCT TWO, THREE AND FOUR, GARY <br /> MEMORIAL BUILDING on Monday the 9th day of May, 1955 at . 7:30 !olelock A.M. <br /> then and there to act upon the following question presented to the <br /> voters at large by the Selectmen, pursuant to a petition for a refer- <br /> endum upon the vote adopted under Article 58 of the Warrant for the <br /> 1955 Annual Town Meeting. <br /> Shall the town vote to approve the action of the representative <br /> town meeting whereby it was voted to amend the Zoning By-Law so as <br /> to change from an R-1, One family dwelling district,, to an M-1, <br /> Light manufacturing district, a parcel of land situated on Westview <br /> Street in Lexington and bounded as follows: southeasterly by the <br /> present M-1 district in this area; northwesterly by the southeasterly <br /> line of Westview Street; northeasterly by a line parallelto and <br /> at all points 500 feet southwesterly of the southwesterly line of <br /> Bedford Street and southeasterly by the northwesterly line of <br /> Hinchey Road; said parcel of land containing approximately eleven <br /> acres and being a portion of the sand and gravel pit of the Lexington <br /> Sand and Gravel Company? <br /> Yes <br /> No <br /> The polls will be open at 7:30 A. M. and will remain open <br /> until 8:00 P.
