TOWN WARRANT <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss . <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in said County, <br /> Greeting: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to <br /> notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, qualified to vote in elections <br /> and in Town affairs, to meet in Cary Memorial Hall, in said Town on Monday, the <br /> fifteenth day of September, 1958, at 8:00 P.M. then and there to act on the <br /> following articles: <br /> ARTICTP 1. To receive the reports of any board of Town officers or of any <br /> committee of the Town. <br /> --r+ ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 5, Permitted <br /> Buildings and Uses, of the Zoning By-Law by striking out in paragraph (h) C 3 <br /> Districts the number "1" at the beginning of the clause so numbered and substitu- <br /> ting therefor the number --2--, and by adding before said clause the following <br /> clause : <br /> 1. Offices for administrative, executive, professional and similar <br /> purposes . <br /> ARTICT,F 3. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-Law by <br /> adding at the end of Section 8, Area Frontage and Yard Regulations, the follow- <br /> ing new paragraph: <br /> (h) C 3 Districts . <br /> 1. In C 3 Districts there shall be provided for all uses other than <br /> those permitted in R 1 or R 2 districts : <br /> a . A lot containing an area of not less than five acres and a <br /> lot width of not less than 300 feet on each street on which <br /> the lot abuts, except that in case the lot abuts on a dead <br /> end turnaround part of a public street or of a street shown <br /> on a subdivision plan approved by the Lexington Planning <br /> Board under the Subdivision Control Law and abuts also on <br /> such street before the turnaround, the 300 feet may be <br /> measured in part along the side line of the street before <br /> the turnaround and in part along a projection of the course <br /> of such side line through and beyond the turnaround, pro- <br /> vided however that the lot shall have a frontage of not less <br /> than 60 feet on the street, including such turnaround. <br />
