CLERK Members: Members will Include the Planning Board, Selectmen c itiotlA Committee, Design Advisory Committee, Fair Housing &Human Relations Committee, LexHAB, Lexington Housing Authority, and three people from the neighborhood Appointed by: Board of Selectmen Term Length: Approximately February 15, 2002 Description: The committee is charged with reviewing and making recommendations to the Board of Selectmen regarding the 40B application of Rising Tides Development Corporation for a Lowell Street property in Lexington. The Committee should complete its work in time for the Selectmen to present to the Board of Appeals for their consideration prior to February 15, 2002. As such the scope, schedule and focus of the group should be tailored and specific. Staff: Board of Appeals Clerk TENTATIVE SCHEDULE AND AGENDA Meeting Main Agenda Date and Time Meeting 1 Initial Meeting and introductions Discussion of committee process and objectives Developer presentation of proposal Meeting 2 Community impacts and benefits: discussion of issues such as traffic, school. children, stormwater and other infrastructure concerns, occupancy and local preference options Meeting 3 Site and housing design: open space, screening,building siting, unit mix and count, community facilities, and consideration of possible alternatives and mitigations Meeting 4 Further discussion of alternatives and unit count with developer. Meeting 5 Discussion and potential resolution in principle on acceptable plan to all parties Meeting 6 Open Agenda Review of preferred alternatives if needed Adopted by the Board of Selectmen on 12/10/01.
