<br />Communication Advisory Committee <br />Minutes of 17 May 2007 <br /> <br /> <br />Attendees: Alan Lazarus, Jeanne Canale, Jane Lyman, Linda Roemer, Ed Vail, Maria Kieslich, <br />Jim Baker, Dave Buczkowski, George B <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Old minutes accepted <br /> <br />Verizon: Jill Reddish not present <br /> <br />Comcast: Jane Lyman noted changes in financial reports. Jeanne Canale filled in details. <br />Jeanne Canale discussed questions and concerns for Manager Valente letter; and cable <br />Company’s payments. The format of reports was discussed. <br /> <br />Next CAC meeting scheduled for 13 June. <br /> <br />Wireless: Ed Vail discussed the wireless application status. Nextel/ Sprint were a question mark. <br /> <br />Lex Media: Alan Lazarus mentioned church channel problems. They are supposed to be <br />connected. The question of who should pay for continued satellite problems. <br /> <br />Lex Media sub-committee: Linda Roemer proposed a spreadsheet with all items, dates and <br />status. It will be put on the agenda for next meeting. <br /> <br />Complaints: John Rommelfanger reported that there was only one complaint in April and it was <br />answered. <br /> <br />Wi-Fi: John Rommelfanger presented his report and answered questions. The committee <br />suggested that the report should include estimated cost figures and that the general discussion of <br />Wi-Fi for municipal Lexington be covered in an addendum vs. in the body of the report. <br /> <br />Meeting close: The meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm. <br />
