Poyt, with the following members in attendance : <br /> Lewis L. Poyt, Chairman <br /> Hervey F. Winlock Michael J. Hopkins <br /> Jasper A. Lane George M. *Hynes <br /> Ronald D. ' rown Raymond L. Thite, <br /> Town Acc:mntsnt <br /> The purpise of t1-:" s meeting is to see - with the <br /> changes made in the 'Budgets last night - What the approximate <br /> tax rate will be. The Secretary stated that according to <br /> the fiures a t32.00 tax rate could be had. <br /> Chairman T'o:rt had an article t-'ri tten relative to <br /> the changes which 1rere made at the ,Dint meeti_n~; with the <br /> FWiectmen last evening, and a general discussion was had <br /> relative to the merits of i nserti n same in the introduction <br /> of the Appropriation Committee Resort. It vas finally decided <br /> that this insertion be eliminated, and the item of predicting <br /> the tax rate be included in the Preamble. <br /> George Hynes had obtained the information relative <br /> to the Personnel of the Police Department from Chief Rycroft <br /> and it was recommended that the information be included in <br /> the minutes of this -meeting for future reference. <br /> Year 1941 17 men <br /> Resi.
