Thite, Town Acc:mntsnt The purpise of t1-:" s meeting is to see - with the changes made in the 'Budgets last night - What the approximate tax rate will be. The Secretary stated that according to the fiures a t32.00 tax rate could be had. Chairman T'o:rt had an article t-'ri tten relative to the changes which 1rere made at the ,Dint meeti_n~; with the FWiectmen last evening, and a general discussion was had relative to the merits of i nserti n same in the introduction of the Appropriation Committee Resort. It vas finally decided that this insertion be eliminated, and the item of predicting the tax rate be included in the Preamble. George Hynes had obtained the information relative to the Personnel of the Police Department from Chief Rycroft and it was recommended that the information be included in the minutes of this -meeting for future reference.
