Brown, Vice Chairman, asked what infor- <br /> mation had been received with regards to the School Maintenance <br /> Personal Services Budget. The Secretary stated that he had <br /> been in touch with Thomas Grindle, Superintendent, with <br /> regards to Items 1 and 4 on the explanation sheet. <br /> Ttem #1 - Salary Increases in Operation for Entire <br /> Year 1946 - represents the Bonus of 1945 from January 1 to <br /> March 31. This item should be omitted in figuring the <br /> difference in the 1945 and 1946 Budgets. Item #4 - Annual <br /> Increments fo_r. Teachers not at Ma .imam; _',.r. Grindle stated <br /> that the inc-er-ents vary from X50.00 to X100.00, and there <br /> are 64 teachers getting an increase. 13 of these are included <br /> In Item #7 - New Salary Schedule. This makes a balance of <br /> 51 ten chers with increases which are included in Item #4. <br /> rr. ~-ri ndle said that since 1944, 34 new teachers have been <br /> added, <br />
