2 6 1. <br /> The Appropriations Committee held a meeting on Monday, June 2, 1969, <br /> at 7:30 P.M., in the Conference Room, Cary Memorial Hall, Lexington. <br /> Members present were Robert M. Gary, Chairman, J. Harper Blaisdell, <br /> Levi G. Burnell, Edward E. Furash, Jack L. Mitchell, H. Bigelow Moore, <br /> Richard M. Perry, Comptroller, Donald B. White, Louis A. Zehner and <br /> Elizabeth M. Flynn <br /> Secretary <br /> The Appropriations Committee held a meeting on Monday, June 9, 1969, <br /> at 8:00 P.M., in the Comptroller's Office, Town Office Building, <br /> Lexington. Members present were Robert M. Gary, Chairman, J. Harper <br /> Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Edward E. Furash, Jack L. Mitchell, <br /> Richard M. Perry, Comptroller, Donald B. White, Louis A. Zenner and <br /> Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary. <br /> The Chairman advised the Committee that signatures petitioning for a <br /> Referendum on Article 4 (proposed new Junior High School) and Article 9 <br /> (Minority Trainee By-Law) , passed by the Special Town Meeting on June 2, <br /> 1969, were being validated by the Town Clerk and that a voting date <br /> for the Referendum would be set by the Selectmen, possibly June 25, 1969. <br /> The Chairman also advised that the following requests for Transfer from <br /> the Reserve Fund had been received: <br /> 1. Account #1950 - $1500. - Town Clerk - expenses for <br /> Referendum voting <br /> 2. Account #1900 - $3000. - Selectmen - expenses for <br /> Special Town Meeting Warrant <br /> and Refendum Warrant <br /> Chairman Gary would like a breakdown on these expenses . <br /> Committee member F. Furash presented to the Committee his proposed <br /> memorandum to the Board of Selectmen on the establishment of a Person- <br /> nel Board. Detailed discussion was held on the Memorandum and upon <br /> motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED that the Memo- <br /> randum be submitted to the Selectmen. Copies will be sent to the <br /> Chairman of the Executive Board of the Town Meeting Members Association <br /> and to the Chairman of the School Committee . <br />
