a <br /> TOWN WARRANT <br /> COMMOMbYEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS <br /> MIDDLESEX ss. <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of <br /> Lexington, in said County: Greetings: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Mass- <br /> achusetts, you are directed to notify the <br /> inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, Quali- <br /> fied to vote in elections and in town affairs, <br /> to meet in the Cary Memorial Building, in said <br /> Lexington, on Monday, the twenty-first day of <br /> October, 1935 at 8:00 o'clock, P. M. , then and <br /> there to act on the following articles: <br /> ARTICLE 1. To receive the report of any Board of Town <br /> Officers or of any committee of the Town, and <br /> to appoint other committees. <br /> ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will authorize the Select- <br /> men to install street lights in the following <br /> unaccepted streets: <br /> Taft Avenue; Blake Road; Blossomcrest. <br /> ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to transfer sums <br /> from available funds to the following account: <br /> Public Welfare; Snow Removal. <br /> ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the <br /> sum of $1200. from the Sewer Assessment Fund <br /> to the Sewer Construction, Sundry Streets <br /> Account. <br /> ARTICLE 5. To see if the Tpwn will vote to transfer sums <br /> from available funds for labor and materials on <br /> public works and for other expenses in connect- <br /> therewith to be- expended by the Selectmen for <br /> the aid of persons employed under the Works <br /> Progress Administration within the the Town. <br /> ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to install a <br /> water main in the following unaccepted street, <br /> subject to the assessment of betterments; and <br /> to take by eminent domain the necessary easement <br /> therefor: <br /> Wachusett Drive, from the present end and at <br /> Fair Oaks Drive a distance of approximately <br /> 350 feet. <br /> ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> approptiate a sum of money for the purpose of <br /> financing the construction of a sanitary sewer <br /> and storm water drain, the drain to be construct- <br /> ed from Hayes Lane through private lands along <br /> Tone Brook to Vine Brook Road, and the sewer to <br /> be constructed from Hayes Lane through private <br /> lands along Vine Brook and its south branch to <br /> the junction of the relocated north branch4 thence <br /> through private lands to Kendall Road, and in <br /> Kendall Road to Grapevine Avenue; thence in <br /> Grapevine Avenue to its junstion with Waltham <br /> Street; and authorize and direct the Selectmen <br /> to accept on behalf of the Town, for use in carry- <br /> ing out such project, a Federal grant of money <br /> pursuant to *he Emergency Relief Appropriation <br /> Act of 1935; and authorize the Board of Select- <br /> men to construct said project and contract with <br />
