22 c.ro <br /> TOWN WARRANT . <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex , ss. <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in said County, <br /> greeting; In the nameof the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are <br /> directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of LexinTton,quali_fied <br /> to vote in elections and in town a-fairs, to meet _in the Cary Memorial <br /> Building, in said Lexington, on Monday, the third day of April,1933 <br /> at 8;00 o' clock P.M. , then and there to act on the following articles; <br /> Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to <br /> install sewers in the following streets; <br /> Bedford Strett ,from Shirley Street northerly a distance of approx- <br /> imately 120 feet ; <br /> Summit Road, from the present end southerly a distance of approx- <br /> imately 460 feet; <br /> Eustis Street,from the present end a distance of approximately <br /> 115 feet; <br /> and appropriate money for said sewer construction by direct appropri- <br /> ation, or by transfer from other accounts. <br /> Articl 2. io see if the Town will vote to install a trunk line sewer <br /> beginning at the Arlington -Lexington Line near Mill Brook and ex- <br /> tend:.ng to Bow Street a distance of approximately 1150 feet, and <br /> aspropriate money for said sewer construction by direct appropriation <br /> Or by transfer from other accounts. <br /> Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to install water mains in the <br /> following streets, subject Vo the usual guarantee or the assessment <br /> of betterments; <br /> Allen Street,from the present end in Blossom Street a distance of <br /> approximately 1400 feet; <br /> Outlook Drive,from Wachusett Drive easterly a distance of approx- <br /> imately 100 feet; <br /> Harbell Street, from the present end southerly a distance of <br /> approximately 190 feet; <br /> Colony Road,from the present end northeasterly a distance of — <br /> anproimately 100 feet; <br /> SimondsRoad, from the present end easterly a distance of approx- <br /> imately 350 feet; <br /> and to provide funds for said installation bl . transfer from the Water <br /> Department Available Surplus to the Water -apartment Construction <br /> Account . <br /> Article 4. To see if the town will vote to install water mains in <br /> Tewksbury Street from Bedford Street to Sargent Street and in Sargent <br /> Street from Tewksbury Street to Shirley Street a distance of approx- <br /> imately 550 feet, and to provide funds for said installation by transfer <br /> from the Water Tepartment Available Surplus to the Water Department <br /> Construction Account. <br /> Article 5. to see if the Town will vote to appropriate funds for <br /> labor and material on public works to be expended by the Selectmen <br /> for the aid of unemployed citizens of the Town. <br /> Article 6. To see if the down will vote to appropriate sufficient <br /> funds to complete the sewer construction in Tewksbury , Sargent and <br /> Shirley Streets, authorized by vote of the mown Meeting,October 31, <br /> 1932, <br /> Article 7 . To see if the Town will vote to release all Town Employees <br /> from any obligation to contribute 10% of their salaries to the Un- <br /> employment Relief Fund at such time as salary reductions voted by <br /> this meeting become effective. <br /> And you are directed to serve this Warrant seven days at least <br /> before the time of said meeting as Provided in the By-laws of the <br /> Town. <br /> Hereof , fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, .=ith <br /> your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said <br /> meeting. <br />
