Holt at <br /> 8:04 P.M. <br /> 186 Town Meeting Members present. <br /> Town Clerk, James J. Carroll, read the Warrant until <br /> further reading was waived. Unanimous. <br /> Town Clerk read the Constable's return of Warrant for <br /> the meeting. <br /> Francis E. Burke moved to take up Article Two, offering <br /> the following: <br /> Voted that it is the sense of this meeting that <br /> the method of procedure adopted by the Board of <br /> Selectmen in the selection of the present <br /> Superintendent of Public Works is disapproved <br /> by the town. <br /> 8: 15 P.M. <br /> Robert P. Trask asks for permission to address the meeting <br /> from the front of the hall. Permission granted. <br /> Explanation by Mr. Trask regarding situation. 8: 28 _P.M. <br /> Richard S. McCabe granted same permission to address meeting <br /> from the front. <br /> Mr. McCabe reminded by Moderator speaking time of ten <br /> minutes had expired. Granted further time. <br /> Explanation by Mr. Rowse, Chairman of Appropriation Committee. <br /> General discussion by the following speakers: MessrS. <br /> Doherty, Cutter, Sarano, Atkinson. <br /> Question by Mr. Nichols if speaker was a Town Meeting Member. <br /> Answered by Moderator, he is. <br /> Further discussion.
