Trask <br /> offered the following motion : <br /> " Voted : That the following amounts be appropriated <br /> for the following accounts for the ensuing year . <br /> Granolithic sidewalks 612000 . <br /> Forest Fires 1000 . <br /> Waltham Street Damages 199 . <br /> Street Signs 300 . <br /> Fire Department 2450 . <br /> Lowering Brooks 500 . <br /> Town Clerk 200 . <br /> Police Department 700 . <br /> Mr . George M . Ross , Chairman of the Appropriation <br /> Committee , reported that this committee approved the <br /> appropriations as offered by Mr . Trask . <br /> Art . 3 . Under this article , Dr . Clarence Shannon offered <br /> the following motion which was passed unanimously : <br /> " Voted : That the report of the Planning Board and <br /> Selectmen on the drainage and development of the Vine <br /> Brook Water Shed be accepted and placed on file . " <br /> Drainage of <br /> VINE BROOK WATERSHED <br /> in South Central Portion of Lexington <br /> Reports of the <br /> SELECTMEN AND PLANNING BOARD <br /> and copy of the Report of <br /> METCALF & EDDY , ENGINEERS . <br /> Report of the Planning Board. <br /> April 15 , 1930 . <br /> The Selectmen , <br /> Town Offices , <br /> Lexington , Mass . <br /> Gentlemen : <br /> Pursuant to vote of the adjourned Town Meeting of <br /> March 31 , 1930 , the Planning Board submits herewith copy <br /> of the principal part of the report of the Engineers , <br /> Messrs . Metcalf & Eddy , under date of September 29 , 1928 , <br /> upon the subject of drainage of the Vine Brook area . The <br /> copy lacks a reproduction of the plan giving the soundings <br /> taken throughout the drainage area because the data on • <br /> said plan is so small it would not reproduce satisfactorily . <br />
