<br />TOWNOFLEXINGTON <br />Governance/OperationsSubCommitteeofthe <br />AdhocCommunityCenterAdvisoryCommittee(AhCCAC) <br />Minutes <br />DRAFT <br />Date: January 12, 2015 <br />Place and time: Reed Room, Town Office Building, 9:00 AM <br />Members Present: Betty Borghesani, Chair, Florence Koplow, Harry Forsdick, Linda Vine, Koren <br />Stembridge <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: Karen Simmons <br />________________________________________________________________________________ <br />1.Meeting called to order at 9 AM. <br />2.Discussion touched on management of CC. If there is a CC Director, how will that person relate <br />to Recreation, Human Services, Youth Services groups, as well as to the general public? To <br />whom will CC Director report in the town for organizational issues. <br />3.Further discussion and revision of Use Policy Draft. <br />4.Further discussion and revision of Children in LexCC policy draft. Benefits of a central <br />registration card for all school age children, linking the schools, libarary, and LexCC was <br />expressed. <br />5.Discussion of invitation of Harwich Community Center director to a full ahCCAC meeting was <br />discussed. It was felt we should not vote on Use and Children’s policies until this meeting, <br />tentatively set for January 16. Florence will draw up some questions for this meeting. <br />6.
