<br />1.PublicComment:Commentsandconcernsfromthecommunity <br />a.ProspectHillSidewalkȟreviewofreportfromengineeringandpreparationfor <br />communitymeetingtonightat7pm <br />ThequestionwasraisedastowhethertheupcomingpublicmeetingispostedontheSWC <br />calendar.HavetheresidentsofProspectHillbeennotified?Havetheobjectorsbeen <br />informed?Isitinthenewspaper?Theanswertoallofthesequestionsisyes. <br />Ms.Canalewantedtoknowiftheengineeringdepartmentwouldbeattendingthemeeting. <br />Mr.WeeksmentionedthathehaddiscussionsabouttheProspectHillprojectwithCarl <br />Valente,TownManager.JohnLivseyoftheEngineeringDepartmentcontactedMr.Weeksto <br />informhimthatatthistimethereisnoengineeringstudy,onlyasurveyatthistime.The <br />DPWprovidedanexistingconditionsplanregardingtheProspectHillprojecttotheSWC. <br />AmeetingissetforMarch16,2015at9am.TheSWCwillmakeitsrecommendationon <br />ProspectHillatthattime.Theguidelinesforspeakingatthemeetingwerebrieflydiscussed. <br />Ms.Crockersuggestedthatcommentsfromproponentsandopponentsbealternated.She <br />andthenpubliccommentclosed.AtthattimetheSWCwill <br />saidcommentswillbeheard, <br />deliberate.Expectationsshouldbeproperlysetsoattendeeshaveaclearunderstandingasto <br />theprocess.NoonefromengineeringwillbeattheMarch16meeting. <br />TheSpecialTownMeetingisMarch23,2015.TheRegularTownMeetingbeginsonMarch26, <br />2015.TheSWCneedstoknowwhenadecisiononthisprojectisrequiredfortheBoardof <br />Selectmen. <br />Thereare2¢¨³¨¹¤²ȌarticlesregardingsidewalkimprovementfortheupcomingTown <br />Meeting.Thereisalineitemfor$600KonthewarrantforTownMeetingfortheFY16 <br />sidewalkbudget.$120KofthiswouldbedirectedtotheMarrettRoad($100K)andthe <br />PleasantStreet($20K)projects. <br />Ms.CrockermentionedthattheSWCmembersshouldbemindfuloffacialexpressionsduring <br />themeeting.HavinglearnedfromexperiencewiththeWinthropRoadproject,itisimportant <br />thatmembersconveyneutralitywhenlisteningtospeakers. <br />Mr.Osbornewantedtoknowthetimelinefortheprojectifitisapproved.Ms.Ciccolosaid <br />designwouldoccurinthesummerandfall.Theprojectwouldnothappenuntilperhapsthe <br />fallof2016.Engineeringwillconductpublichearingsandnotifyresidentsofanymeetings <br />thatarescheduled.Detailsmaychangebasedonfeasibilitystudies.Nothingisconcreteat <br />thistime. <br /> <br />
