Via Lago will still be seeking relief from the AAB regarding the accessible restroom. Town Meeting Warrant The definition of what is a public pathway will be specified in the article. A discussion was had about what stakeholders will benefit from this project. Our motion should be completed by the end of the second week in March for the town meeting member information sessions. As a result, a draft should be finalized by the end of this month so we can be sure to have it ready in time. Community Center Sidewalk A proposed new pathway will be built from Marriott Road to the front of the Community Center. The goal of this sidewalk is to provide a means of travel other than the main driveway for individuals and provide access to the MBTA bus stop. The project seems difficult given the current landscape contours. Len will update the Commission once he gets more information on the project. Harrington Park Update Victoria received a letter in response to our questions regarding access into the building. The letter stated that the building will only be used for administrative purposes and not as a public meeting space. Update on Photovoice Sean Grady and Julie Miller are featured in the project. They provided us with an update. The project will highlight individuals, mainly with neurological disorders, and the obstacles that they face within the community. Examples of the posters that will be displayed were passed around. The Commission is involved given the projects mission of fostering community integration and the themes around accessibility that are raised throughout the project. Community leaders and other individuals, who have a voice in effecting change and increasing community awareness, will be invited to a stakeholders meeting that will be held before the posters are displayed. 25th ADA Anniversary in Lexington Francine will follow up on the possibility of the Commission having a booth at Discovery Day. Next Meeting Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 5th at 5:45pm in the Parker Room, G-15 of the Town Hall. Meeting Adjourned, a few minutes before 7pm.
