Minutes of Meeting on August 1, 2013

Approval of past minutes
Presentation by Don Mills –
project is now in design and implementation phase
and needs a different AAB variance – for small details such as the downstairs
hallways are ramps without landings. Commission supports the variance
because the plans are more than sufficient, they are practical and thoughtful, and
the design committee has been very thorough. The Commission thanked Don
Mills for keeping them posted at all times.
Discussion of how to proceed with handicapped parking fines
Annual report to cover different time span (July to June) due 8/30/13 –
Commission agreed to have Victoria draft the new report to reflect the different
time span.
Parking issues for businesses in Lexington –
follow up from Len not
completed yet.
Parker Meadow Accessibility –
CDC grant for Beaver Pond accessibility –
ongoing updates from Michael Martignetti as the liaison will need to wait as
Michael was unable to attend.
Additional new business and update on new projects –
no new items to
discuss
