On Friday 2/28/14 it is expected that this concept will also be presented to the
Transportation Forum.
Mary Ellen Dunne has sent the transportation survey out to parents. The information needs to be
compiled by the end of March. Policy readings will be done at School Committee in April.
Bus registration will open on April 7 and end on May 16. Fees will remain at $300 with a family cap of
$750, rising to $500 on May 17. As of July 1 , the full fee of $745/student will be charged. Payment is
not required at registration but is due by 8/1/14. It is possible to cancel registration if needed.
4.New business: As of 2/22/14, the Community Endowment of Lexington has put out a Request for
Proposals for grants of up to $10,000 to qualifying organizations.
5.Updating Resident Guidelines for Requesting New Sidewalks document: The group reviewed the
guidelines and suggested changes which will be incorporated into the document.
6.The meeting was adjourned at 10 AM.
