<br />Lexington Housing Partnership <br />MeetingminutesforDecember9,2013 <br />Attendees:BobPressman,WendyManz,MelindaWalker,BetseyWeiss,HarrietCohen,JoePato, <br />MichelleCiccolo <br />Guest:EricaEndyke <br />ThemeetingwaschairedbyBetseyWeissandtheminutesweretakenbyHarrietCohen.Themeeting <br />wascalledtoorderat7:38pm. <br />1.Approvaloftheminutesof10/24/13 <br />Oneminorchangetotheminuteswasrequested.TheLHPdidnotvoteonapprovaloftheminutes <br />becauseitdidnothaveaquorum. <br />2.FirstFridayForum(WendyManz) <br />AaronHenrypresentedtheHHPatthe\[ĻğŭǒĻ͸ƭFirstFridayForum.CarolMarineofthePartnership, <br />MichelleCiccolorepresentingthePlanningBoardandtheMAPC,andSteveKeane,ExecutiveDirectorof <br />theLexingtonHousingAuthority,satonthepanel.Theresponsefromtheaudiencewaspositive.The <br />presentationwasvideotapedandisbeingshownoncablebyLexMedia. <br />3.HousingProductionPlan(HPP)DraftUpdate(BetseyWeiss) <br />ThestaffpersonatMAPCwasunavailableand,consequently,theworkontheHPPisonhold.Workis <br />expectedtocontinueshortly. <br />4.MetroWestCollaborativeDevelopmentΑDodsonParcellistupdate(BetseyWeiss) <br />Ms.WeisscontactedSteveLaferriere,SeniorHousingProjectManageratMetroWestCD,rethe <br />ConcordAveproperty.Mr.Laferrierereportedthatthehomeownerdidnotrespondtoinquiries <br />regardingthesaleofthepropertyforaffordablehousing.ThePlanningBoarddidasitevisittothe <br />propertyasthereisaproposaltobuildanassistedlivingfacilityontheproperty.Becausethefacility <br />wouldprovideindividualunits,eachofthemwouldlikelycountasahousingunit.Ifthatisthecase,this <br />wouldsubstantiallyincreasethedenominatoroftheaffordablehousingequation.ThePlanningBoard <br />willaskthatsomeunitsbesetasideasaffordableunits.TheproposalwillbebroughttoTownMeeting <br />inthespring,ifallgoesasplanned. <br />Nootherupdatesontheparcelsonthelist. <br />5.LexingtonHousingAuthorityCPCrequest(MelindaWalker) <br />Mr.KeaneappliedtotheDHCDforacompetitivegrantandLexingtonwasselectedasoneofthe <br />recipients.Hewouldliketoundertakeaprojectforabout$900,000relatedtothebuildingenvelopefor <br />Vinebrook.DHCDapprovalwascontingentonacquiringsomefundingfromtheCPC.Mr.Keaneapplied <br />forapproximately$300,000fromtheCPC.TheCPCvoted90infavoroftheproposal.TheCapital <br />Expenditures/ƚƒƒźƷƷĻĻ͸ƭresponsetotheCPCproposalwaspositive. <br />6.LexHABCPCRequest(BobPressman) <br />BillKennedy,cochairofLexHAB,submittedarequestfor$750,000forthebalanceofthefundsneeded <br />forthebuildingoftwobuildingsontheBusaland,eachwith3apartments.Eachbuildingwillhave22 <br />bedroomapartmentsand11bedroomapartment.TherequestwasapprovedbytheCPCbyavoteto8 <br />1.TheCapitalExpenditures/ƚƒƒźƷƷĻĻ͸ƭresponsewaspositivetothisproposalaswell. <br /> <br />
