<br />Lexington Housing Partnership <br />MeetingMinutesforMay23,2013 <br />Attendees: <br />ChrisKluchman,FlorenceBaturin,JoePato,MichelleCiccolo,BobPressman,HarrietCohen,Carole <br />Marine,MelindaWalker,BetseyWeiss,WendyManz,Suzanneh͸bĻźƌJones,TomHarden <br />SteveLaferriere,MetroWestCollaborativeDevelopment <br />ThemeetingwaschairedbyChrisKluchmanandtheminutesweretakenbyHarrietCohen.The <br />meetingwascalledtoorderat7:39pm. <br />1.ApprovaloftheMinutesofApril252013 <br />Theminuteswerediscussedandanamendmentwasmade.Ms.Manzmovedtheminutesas <br />amended.Ms.h͸bĻźƌJonessecondedthemotion.Themotionwaspassedunanimously. <br />2.BoardOrganization <br />Ms.KluchmanhasresignedfromtheLHPasoftheendofMay.TheLHPrecognizedtheexcellent <br />workthatMs.Kluchmanandnotesthatherresignationisatruelosstothecommittee.TheLHP <br />thankedMs.Kluchmanforherwork. <br />Ms.Kluchmanhassuggestedthatweappointaninterimchair,oratleastsomeonetoactasthe <br />contactforthetown.Ms.WalkernominatedMs.Weissastheinterimchair;Ms.Marine <br />seconded.Ms.Weissagreedtoserveasaninterimchairforonemonthandwasunanimously <br />electedtothatposition. <br />Thejobdescriptionincludesbeinganadvocateandspokespersonattownmeetings,writingthe <br />annualreport,andactingasthepointpersonforthetown,forexample,thechairisnotifiedas <br />tomemberswhosetermsareexpiring.Processresponsibilitiesincludeprovidingtheagenda, <br />ensuringthatmeetingsareposted,andmakingroomreservations. <br />AnyonewhoisinterestedshouldsendaletterofinteresttoFlorence.Pleaseindicatewhyyou <br />areinterestedandwhatyourqualificationsare.Lettersofinterestarebeingacceptedforboth <br />thechairpersonandvicechairperson.PleasesendlettersbyJune20. <br />3.BoardofSelectmen(BOS)GoalRecommendation <br />Mr.PatoisseekinginputforBoardof{ĻƌĻĭƷƒĻƓ͸ƭgoalsrelatedtoaffordablehousing.Ms.Weiss <br />andothershaveproposedgoalsspecifictodollaramountsofmoneytobeallocatedto <br />affordablehousingandtoapprovedevelopmentplansforBusa,Fairview,andtheLeary <br />properties. <br />TheLHPalsodiscussedabroadergoalfortheBoardtosponsorcommunitydiscussionof <br />affordablehousing,structuredaroundtheHousingProductionPlan(HPP).Thisstatementwould <br />bealignedwithagoalaskingtheSelectmentoprovidethecapacitytoimplementtheHPP. <br /> <br />
