NEGOTIATING SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 7:44 PM.
Attendees
Negotiating Subcommittee members David Becker, Nick Lauriat and David Buczkowski.
The Request List for Comcast was discussed
Mr. Becker explained the licensing process to Mr. Lauriat including the formal vs. informal
process.
We discussed our final list of requests for the Comcast renewal license, which includes the
following:
- The designation of an emergency person for helping the Town deal with downed wires;
- A side letter similar to the 2009 RCN letter agreeing to expedited support for replacing double
utility poles;
- Approximately 33 additional cable boxes for the Town and Schools;
- An HD PEG channel;
In addition, we plan to request I -Net and cable TV connections for the new community /senior
center on the site of the Masons' building on Marrett Road.
The next meeting with Jane Lyman is scheduled for June 10, 2013.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:25 PM.
