<br />Selectmen’s Meeting <br />February 8, 2013 <br /> <br />A meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the <br />Selectmen Meeting Room of the Town Office Building. Chairman Mauger, Mr. Cohen; Mr. <br />Manz; and Mr. Burnell; Mr. Valente, Town Manager; and Ms. Pease, Executive Clerk, were <br />present. <br /> <br />Public Committee <br /> <br />Mr. Hadley, Public Works Director, gave an update on the pending blizzard expected to be at its <br />worst between 10:00 p.m. Friday through 7:00 a.m. Saturday. One hundred vehicles are ready to <br />start plowing. There is an 11:15 a.m. conference call with MEMA. Code Red messages will be <br />send out as necessary. <br /> <br />State of Emergency <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 5-0 to declare a State of Emergency <br />beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 8, 2013 and continues to be in effect until such time <br />as the storm concludes and the public’s safety is insured. <br /> <br />Executive Session <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 4-0 by roll call to go into executive session <br />to consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property at 33 Marret Road. Further, <br />the Chairman declared that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating <br />position of the Town. <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 4-0 to adjourn at 10:41 p.m. <br /> <br />A true record; Attest: <br /> <br /> <br /> Lynne A.
