<br />Minutes of the Community Preservation Committee <br />Tuesday, February 28, 2012 <br />7:00 pm -7:30 pm <br />Estabrook Hall <br />Cary Memorial Building <br /> <br /> <br />Present: <br />Board Members: <br />Wendy Manz,Chair; Joel Adler, Norman Cohen, Jeanne Krieger, Leo <br /> <br />McSweeney, Sandy Shaw and Betsey Weiss. <br />Administrative Assistant <br />: Nathalie Rice <br /> <br />Also in attendance were David Kanter of the Capital Expenditures Committee and Town <br />resident Bob Pressman. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.First Friday Presentation to the League of Women Voters - <br />Ms. Manz <br />stated that the CPC would be making a powerpoint presentation to the League <br />nd <br />on Friday March 2. She invited other members to attend to answer questions <br />and represent their various boards and committees and the CPC. A majority of <br />members offered to attend. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2.Updates, Future Meetings and Member Concerns - <br />Ms. Manz asked for <br />nd <br />Committee participation at the TMMA Information Session on March 22 <br />th <br /> <br />and on the TMMA Bus Tour on March 18. <br /> <br />Mr. Kanter, member of the CEC, informed the CPC that the non-CPC funded <br />portion of the White House Stabilization Project had not been included in the <br />Brown Book (the final budget document for Town Meeting). He reported that <br />Mr. Addelson, Assistant Town Manager for Finance, had said the budget had <br />been approved without the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Kanter also noted that the Board of Selectmen said it would be seeking a <br />“cap” of $75,000 in spending on the Cary Memorial Building Upgrades <br />project. <br /> <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />Nathalie Rice <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Community Preservation Committee <br /> 1 <br />
