<br />Minutes of the Community Preservation Committee <br />Monday, April 9, 2012 <br />7:25 pm <br />Cary Auditorium <br />Cary Memorial Building <br /> <br /> <br />Present: <br />Board Members: <br />Wendy Manz,Chair; Joel Adler, Norman Cohen, Marilyn Fenollosa, <br /> <br />Vice-Chair, Jeanne Krieger, Leo McSweeney, Sandy Shaw and Betsey Weiss. <br />Administrative Assistant <br />: Nathalie Rice <br /> <br />The meeting was held within the Annual Town Meeting and was called to order at 7:25 <br />pm. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Acceptance of Capital Expenditures Committee (CEC) amendment to <br />Article 8(g) – LexHAB Set-Aside for Housing Acquisition – <br />Ms.Manz <br />asked for the Committee’s vote on a minor amendment to Article 8(g), which <br />had been proposed by Mr. Kanter of the CEC. The amendment read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Article 8(g): Amend by adding: <br /> <br />After “…for Housing Acquisition,” add “consistent with the <br />“Guidelines for the Use of CPA Funding by LexHAB,” approved <br />February 17, 2011,” <br /> <br />The amendment was approved by the CPC (8-0). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2.Acceptance of Board of Selectmen Amendment to Article 8(d) – Cary <br />Memorial Building Upgrades – <br />Ms. Manz asked for a Committee vote on an <br />amendment from the Board of Selectmen to lower the appropriation of the <br />Cary Memorial Upgrades Project from $550,000 to $75,000.
