Lexington Council on the Arts <br />Agenda Minutes February 11, 2013 <br />Cary Memorial Library <br />Present: Zoe Perry Wood, Chair; Jan Gopelrud; Emily Passman; Victoria Campos, <br />secretary <br />Absent: Regie Gibson <br />Zoe called the meeting to order at 7:27 pm. <br />Topics Discussed: <br />• December minutes were approved. <br />• January Minutes discussed and approved. <br />• No Treasurer's Report as we as yet have no replacement for Chris. <br />• Diamond Hayes has resigned. <br />• Zoe had conversation with Adrienne Sloan who used to be Chair of <br />Watertown Council on the Arts. These people started the Arsenal <br />Center for the Arts. Zoe has invited her to speak to the LCA. <br />• April Munroe Saturday Night for Artists' talk. April 6, 7pm. LCA <br />considered making a $150 -200 donation. <br />• Zoe asked that our March 11, 2013meeting be an opportunity to <br />invite individuals interested in possibly becoming a part of the LCA: <br />Christina Burwell <br />Rebecca Moore <br />Cassandra Goldwater <br />Becky Derby <br />Bill Passman <br />Cheryl Meadow <br />Carolyn Goldstein <br />• Victoria will put an announcement in the Minuteman, and Emily will <br />post the announcement in the Lexington Yahoo site. Jan to draft a <br />copy of the announcement and distribute to LCA members. Meeting <br />will be at Munroe in Zoe's studio and will be open for prospective <br />members at 8pm. Regular meeting for LCA to discuss business to <br />begin as usual at 7pm. <br />• Grant cycle: Zoe to send letters out. LCA spent the rest of the <br />meeting stuffing grant cycle envelopes. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9pm. Next meeting March 11, 2013 at Zoe's studio in the <br />Munroe Center on the Arts. <br />
