# _ Lexington Housing Partnership <br />Meeting Minutes for November 15, 2012 <br />Attendees: <br />Suzanne O'Neil Jones, Florence Baturin, Mary Haskell, Betsey Weiss, Wendy Manz, Tom Harden, <br />Harriet Cohen, Chris Kluchman, Bob Pressman <br />Chris Kluchman chaired the meeting; Harriet Cohen took the minutes. The meeting was called to order <br />at 6:30 pm. The LHP meeting was held prior to the Housing Production Plan Forum. <br />1. Membership Update <br />Bob Pressman has submitted an application to the Board of Selectmen to join the LHP. <br />2. Housing at the Masonic Site <br />The Town continues to consider the purchase of a very large lot that is being sold by the <br />Masonic Lodge. The LHP notes that the site would support affordable housing, perhaps senior <br />housing or wounded veterans housing. <br />The LHP unanimously approved a motion to send a letter to the Town -wide Facilities Committee <br />and the Board of Selectmen recommending that the Town dedicate some portion of the 3 <br />existing buildings to or develop a new building congregant housing for seniors or veterans. <br />Ms. Haskell and Mr. Pressman volunteered to draft the letter. <br />3. Opening on the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) <br />The Lexington Housing Partnership provides a delegate to serve on the CPC. From the inception <br />of the CPC, Betsey Weiss has been the delegate. Ms. Weiss has resigned from the CPC. The LHP <br />noted her long service and offered its thanks for a job very well done. <br />The LHP unanimously approved a motion to designate Mr. Pressman as the LHP delegate to the <br />CPC, contingent on his appointment to the CPC. <br />4. Next Meeting Date <br />The LHP agreed to meet again on Dec. 6, at 7:30 pm. Location will be announced later. <br />5. Meeting Adjournment <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm. <br />
