# _ Lexington Housing Partnership Meeting Minutes for May 24, 2012 Attendees: Chris Kluchman, Wendy Manz, Florence Baturin, Harriet Cohen, Tom Harden, Melinda Walker, Mary Haskell Chris Kluchman chaired the meeting; Harriet Cohen took the minutes. The meeting was called to order at 7:50 pm. 1. Minutes The LHP reviewed the minutes and made several corrections. A motion to approve the minutes was approved and seconded. The minutes were approved with a vote of 5 -0 -2 (5 in favor, 0 against and 2 abstaining). 2. Public Comments There were no public comments 3. Housing Production Plan Community Forum Aaron Henry, Senior Planning Manager for Lexington, provided materials he had prepared regarding the upcoming forum on the Housing Production Plan (HPP). Ms. Kluchman provided background on the importance of the HPP. The LHP reviewed the announcement of the meeting with a goal of making it more focused and crisp. Ms. Manz, Ms. Walker and Ms. Baturin volunteered to work with Mr. Henry on the Community Forum, both on the announcement materials and on the content of the Forum. The Community Forum is on June 21. Ms. Kluchman will post that date as the date of the next LHP meeting. 4. Update on Town Owned Properties There was no update on Busa Farm. The Board of Selectmen are asking committee chair people for their input on the BOS goals. The input is due by June 15. The sense of the LHP is that Ms. Kluchman should recommend (a) funding the planning process for the Leary land, (b) that the BOS designate Map 20 Lot 38 parcel for affordable housing on the Busa property, and (c) that the BOS should participate in the Housing Production Plan. 5. Meeting Schedule As noted above, the next meeting will be on June 21. The LHP will not meet in July and August. The LHP will meet on the fourth Thursday in September, which is September 27. 6. Adjournment The meeting ended at 8:56 pm.
