Review of capital requests for this year and out years.
Software upgrade moved from FY08 to FY09. Original software was
insalled in 1994 and doesn't provide for any statistical analysis or
query capability. LFD wants a different system and has been part of
the team eval'ing new packages. It has been pushed out a year because
the eval is going slow. The intent is to serve both LFD and LPD with
the new system. Dispatch system is what generates case numbers and
drives it out to other systems that later use it.
Discussion of software generally not capital and the parties involved
in the eval.
Discussion of LPD space and their needs.
Discussion of current status of dispatch center renovation. LPD will
be meeting with LW Bills and Motorola this Thursday. Timeline is to
decide on vendors in November, do plans in December and have the
project done before ATM. The temporary dispatch center is most of the
work.
