<br />Lexington Council for the Arts (LCA) <br />Minutes for Meeting February 9, 2009 <br />Cary Memorial Library <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Barbara Ciampa, Co-Chair; Louise Cady-Fernandes; Jan Goplerud; Zoe Perry <br />Wood, Co- Chair; Jonathan Cue; Mary Trometer,Treasurer; Sirarpi Heghinian Walzser; <br />Bill Janowitz <br /> <br />Absent: Janet Post, Secretary; Jackie Hawkinson; Victoria Campos <br /> <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> Barbara Ciampa called the meeting to order at 7:16PM <br /> <br />Secretary's Report <br /> The minutes for the January ‘09 meeting were accepted. <br /> <br />Treasurer's Report <br /> The treasurer’s report was accepted. There is a balance of $ 7013.45 <br /> <br />Grant Business: <br /> The grant letters have been mailed to all grant applicants. <br /> <br />New Business: <br />Jan reviewed the grant application guidelines that she has been working on for our <br />?? <br />council. The guidelines will be posted on the MCC website as well as eventually on our <br />page of the town’s website. We will vote on the revised guidelines at our next meeting. <br />Zoe updated us on our website. We will discuss it further at our next meeting <br />?? <br />Zoe presented two new beautiful signs that she had made for the LCA. <br />?? <br />Munroe Center for the Arts will host a town wide-open studios weekend in early <br />?? <br />May. We are going to ask Christian to come to our next meeting and update us on his <br />plan. <br /> <br />Business for Next Meeting ( Chaired by Zoe Perry Wood) <br /> <br />Jan will review her revised grant guidelines with us for a vote. <br />?? <br />Website discussion. <br />?? <br />Victoria will share with us her experiences with the Belmont arts council <br />?? <br />Christian from The Munroe Center for the Arts will update us on the open studios <br />?? <br />weekend. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:16 PM.
