<br /> <br /> <br />Lexington Board of Health Meeting, October 10, 2007 <br /> <br />Town Office Building, Room G-15 <br />1625 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA 02420 <br /> <br />Attendees: Burt Perlmutter, Chair; Judith Feldman; Sharon MacKenzie; <br />Deborah Thompson <br /> <br />Health Department Attendees: Kathy Fox, Ann Belliveau, Rebecca Williams <br /> <br />Perlmutter called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />The Board reviewed the October data reports and Public Health Nurse update. <br />MacKenzie asked for a quarterly update from the Animal Control Officer. <br /> <br />The Board reviewed the minutes of September 19, 2007. MacKenzie motioned to accept <br />the minutes as corrected. Feldman seconded. All approved. <br /> <br />Well Request at 25 Marrett St. - Mr. Gaut of 25 Marrett St. had discussed with Fox that <br />he was running out of water and it was an emergency situation to install a well. <br />Fox suggested Mr. Gaut attend this Board of Health Meeting to request an emergency <br />variance. He showed Fox a map of his property but it did not have setbacks or indicate <br />where his septic system was on the property. Gaut seemed unclear where the septic <br />system was located. The Board asked Fox to send Mr. Gaut a letter to include the <br />following: <br /> <br />1. Mr. Gaut must complete a well application to include all required documents. <br />2. Submit septic system pumping records to the Health Department <br />3. The domestic well should be tested for safety <br />4. The Board would like to discuss <br /> <br />Fox gave an FY09 Budget update to the Board. The primary request is for funds to <br />budget a contractual inspector for higher inspectional seasons. <br /> <br />Fox informed the Board of a recent inspection at Via Lago by Joe Tabbi. Tabbi <br />recommends meeting with the owners and talk to them about bringing in a food <br />consultant. Fox said that if Via Lago is reluctant to do this then they can go before the <br />Board. <br /> <br />MacKenzie motioned to adjourn. Thompson seconded.
