On April 23, 1904,the Minute-man noted that"The house on
Winthrop road owned by Mrs. A.E. Watson, is having a second story added to the ell".
In 1910 the Watson household consisted of 39 year old Frank, a mechanical engineer, his wife Ethel, his mother Anna E.
Watson, age 74, his sister Melissa and a servant. Members of the Watson family continued to occupy the house until
about 1926.
BIBLIOGRAPHY:
Lexington Directories, various dates.
Lexington Minute-Man, Feb. 7, 1903; April 23, 1904.
U.S. Census Records, 1910.
Supplement prepared by:
Lisa Mausolf
April 2009
